Hello and welcome. We're glad you're here. Firstly, thank you, for taking that first step in showing you care about the fate of our planet. Now, let's get you started with some information about our Carbon Literacy course. Next up, as you probably know by now Carbon Literacy® is “An awareness of the carbon costs and impacts of everyday activities, and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions, on an individual, community and organisational basis.” (The Carbon Literacy Project). This course is accredited by the 'Carbon Literacy Project' themselves, a globally unique charity, aiming to deliver a day’s worth of Carbon Literacy® to everyone who lives, works or studies – everywhere. Carbon Literacy is an adaptable framework, covering the science of climate change, carbon footprints, why it’s relevant to you and your audience, and as a result, inspiring learners everywhere to take action. Some practical points: 🌿 Zoten's accredited course, has been carefully crafted for individuals from any background, based in Greece striving to make a positive change to our planet. We've localised our training to meet the Greek market however the course is conducted in English. If you require a Greek version, please reach put to info@zoten.gr before signing up. 🌿 You get a certificate from The Carbon Literacy Project at the end that you can share on LinkedIn or your CV. 🌿 Each session is online via Google Meet and links will be sent out via email before the first session. This course is 2 sessions of 4 hours. 🌿 You’ll be sent resources after each session and some optional takeaway activities. We provide a myriad of extra reading too at the end. 🌿 During and after the course, you will be empowered to create and carry out your very own climate action plan and provided with tools to accurately articulate to those around you what the climate crisis is as well as inspire them to take action too. 🌿 This course is not a one-and-done for us, we aim to foster a relationship with those who complete it and get certified and support each other as we continue to execute our respective action plans (and create new ones).
